# Bingwu Year Fortune God'S Birthday **Source:** https://ladylinshui.hk/en/bingwu-year-fortune-god's-birthday **Language:** English --- # Fortune God's Birthday ## Fortune arises from virtue, the Earth nurtures all things. People seek wealth today, often overlooking that the deity's name is 'Fu De' (Fortune and Virtue) — **Only with virtue can one carry fortune.** - **Seeking wealth:** The Earth nurtures all things; to seek wealth, first seek a stable career and be down-to-earth. - **Seeking peace:** Guarding waterways and homes; sincerity brings spiritual energy to the land, and spiritual land produces outstanding people. In folk beliefs, the Earth God is the deity who guards the village and the waterways. As we prepare to sweep tombs and pay respects to our ancestors, we must first worship Hou Tu (the Earth God) to thank Him for protecting the resting place of our ancestors. # Donations welcome (One treasure scroll per family) **Notes:** \* Dharma event date: March 20, 2026 \* Registration deadline: March 17, 2026 Whatsapp registration
