# Ghost Festival In July **Source:** https://ladylinshui.hk/en/ghost-festival-in-july **Language:** English --- # **ghost-festival-in-july** #### Ghost Offering | Charity | Burning Ghost Money Every year during the seventh lunar month, the gates of hell open wide, and lonely souls without offerings wander the human world. Our temple specially offers a service for burning ghost money on behalf of believers. The ghost money burning will include paper offerings such as gold and silver, spirit money, ghost clothes and records, seven-colored paper, incense, and candles. At the same time, offerings like water, rice, tea, and wine will be provided for the lonely souls. The master will inform the deities at the altar about the participants of the aforementioned ghost-offering activities to prove their merits. This will lead to peace and happiness in the afterlife and blessings returning to their rightful place. # Service for burning ghost money on behalf of others For those who wish to have ghost money burned on their behalf, please provide the full name of the believer.
