The 'Stele of the Eastern Peak Bixia Palace' states: 'Yuanjun can bring blessings to all beings according to their wishes. The poor wish for wealth, the sick wish for peace, the farmers wish for a good harvest, the merchants wish for profit, those praying for children wish for longevity, those without heirs wish for descendants, children wish for their parents, younger siblings wish for their elder siblings, and close relatives and friends all make wishes, and the deity responds to all sincere prayers.' From this, it can be seen that Bixia Yuanjun Possesses great divine powers, heals the sick, saves people, and protects all matters related to farming, commerce, travel, relationships, and marriage. Therefore, Bixia Yuanjun presides over Mount Tai and is a deity who can bestow blessings and avert disasters for the people. According to folklore, there is a female attendant statue of Bixia Yuanjun holding a baby. This signifies Bixia Yuanjun's benevolent protection for the health and safety of women and children, enabling conception for the infertile and smooth delivery for the pregnant.
